These are medium-sized shrimps that are well cooked and do not become “rubbery”, so they are ideal as a snack. Large shrimps are better grilled, as they are not so delicious when cooked.

To feel the fullness of taste, before cooking, the shrimp should be thawed. You can defrost in warm water or a microwave oven, there is no fundamental difference. It should also be remembered that Russian stores sell shrimps that have already undergone a certain heat treatment and do not need long cooking.

Recipe for boiled shrimp for beer

Ingredients:

  • shrimp – 1 kg;
  • dill – 1 bunch;
  • bay leaf – 2 pieces;
  • allspice – 2 peas;
  • onion – 1 piece;
  • carnation – 1-2 buds;
  • salt – to taste.

Preparation

1. Defrost the shrimp and drain the melted water through a colander. Crustaceans should be completely dry.

2. Fill the pot half full of water, add salt and spices. Put it on the fire.

3. Put the shrimp in boiling water, cover the pan with a lid and remove from the heat. After 2-3 minutes, drain the water. The dish can be served on the table.

Braised shrimp recipe

Cooking takes a little longer, but the result is worth it.

Composition:

  • shrimp – 1 kg;
  • fresh dill – 1 bunch;
  • lemon – 1 piece;
  • butter — a third of a pack;
  • garlic – 2-3 heads;
  • pepper and salt – to taste.

Preparation

1. Add finely chopped lemon, garlic, fresh dill, pepper and salt to the thawed shrimp.

2. Marinate the shrimp for 30 minutes in a saucepan.

3. Put the pan on medium heat, melt the third part of a pack of butter. Put the shrimp in.

4. Cover the pan with a lid and keep on low heat for 2-3 minutes.

5. Turn off the heat and simmer the shrimp in the pan for another 15 minutes.
